Switchboard
Switchboard is a highly scalable, distributed, lightweight data fabric that focuses on securely connecting many user bases with distributed data in accordance with data access policies from multiple organizations.
Rather than duplicating the storage and management of these components it federates existing organization’s identity and access control services to apply to its connected distributed data stores and synchronizes with external data catalogs for discovery.
Switchboard Capabilities

- Individual organizations can manage their own data governance and discoverability from their systems, while the platform provides the enforcement of those data access policies at the time of query.
- Highly flexible and configurable data fabric where you can apply combinations of data, data access, and data discoverability for the purpose of enterprise or domain data sharing down to the situational or tactical level even acting as a data provider to another data fabric or Switchboard deployment itself.
- Allows for cross-database querying using single SQL statements, providing in-place analytics and increased intelligence without the need for slow, complex data manipulation.
