Cloud-native, container-based technology collects, processes, and analyzes data from multiple networks of distributed environmental sensors to support decision making informed by real time data and analytics.
Built on ATA’s Jetstream streaming analytics platform, the environmental sensor fusion and analytics solutions use advanced ML, environmental modeling, and computer vision techniques to detect, predict and alert on environmental hazards, and estimate atmospheric conditions vital to operations in fields such as emergency management and aviation. The solution has capabilities in multi-sensor data integration, ML-based weather forecast/nowcast, high velocity data pipelining and processing, and operations systems integration.
It utilizes ML to build upon and create new weather data from existing and low-cost sensors, with the resulting ML forecasts/nowcasts viewed in a dedicated web-based dashboard or forwarded to other applications.
With an extensible plugin design, the platform can utilize and analyze weather sensor data from any available source or sensor vendor, and utilizes modern MLOps practices for a “bring your own model” capability that supports easy integration of existing or new ML or numerical models. ATA’s environmental sensor fusion and analytics solutions are architectured to be compatible with all major cloud providers or on-prem deployments, and is built on today’s leading open source technologies.
